There are over 175 members including young surgical trainees who are resident members. The membership includes surgeons in all provinces of Canada, and there are a number of members in other countries including the USA. The diverse membership includes academic colon rectal surgeons as well as community surgeons who specialize in colon and rectal surgery and practice in urban and rural locations.

To pay your membership dues, simply click on the ‘Make Payment’ link under ‘Membership’ and it will take you to the payment page. You will need to know the amount of your dues or what category of membership you are (Fellow or Associate Fellow), insert your first and last name, and insert any other amount if you would like to make a donation. Note that Residents are not charged for their membership.
To become a member of the CSCRS, please click on the ‘Membership’ menu item located on the home page and then click on the drop down menu ‘Join Now’. Complete the online application or Download the Application form and complete the application form. You will be notified as soon as your application is reviewed by the CSCRS Executive Committee.
Benefits of membership include: Discounted registration rates to the Canadian Surgery Forum, complimentary tickets to the annual CSCRS Research Dinner, advocate support for the specialty of Colorectal Surgery, networking with peers, access to member news and research programs and so much more!.
The annual CSCRS Research Program provides research grant funding to competitive research projects in colorectal surgery. You must be a member of the CSCRS to be considered eligible to receive a grant. For more information about the CSCRS Research Program, please visit the Research page by clicking on the ‘Research' menu item on the home page and you will see ‘CSCRS Research Application’ appear.
