The CSCRS was founded in 1983 as the professional organization of colon and rectal surgeons in Canada. Currently there are over 100 members including young surgical trainees who are resident members. The membership includes surgeons in all provinces of Canada, and there are a number of members in other countries including the USA. The diverse membership includes academic colon rectal surgeons as well as community surgeons who specialize in colon and rectal surgery and practice in urban and rural locations.

ASSOCIATE FELLOW
A surgeon who is active in the field of colon and rectal surgery or displays a major interest in the study of colon and rectal disease, and who is legally licensed to practice surgery in Canada.
This category also includes those currently undertaking fellowships in the field of colon and rectal surgery.
Dues: $100/year
